Lead Business Consultant

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Lead Business Consultant with a focus on Requirements Engineering and Scope Definition to support the ARP program (program for the introduction and further development of a standard system for planning and disposition processes in the railway environment).

The focus is on structured requirements gathering and scope clarification, creation of gap analyses, and management of specifications from clarification to implementation and acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Conducting gap analyses and deriving action and adaptation needs for the standard system
• Gathering, analyzing, structuring, and documenting business and technical requirements of the client, handing them over to development teams, and managing them through to testing and acceptance with the client
• Moderating workshops and coordination meetings between Product Owner, development partner, and other stakeholders
• Analyzing and modeling existing and future business processes

Requirements

Framework Conditions:

• Several years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and process analysis
• Experience in agile fixed-price software development projects and in collaboration with business departments and development teams
• Strong analytical, structured, and communicative working style
• Experience with planning or disposition systems is an advantage, especially TTL/Rail
• Experience as Scrum Master / Team Coach
• IREB and SAFe certifications are an advantage
• Desired start date: asap
• Duration: medium to long term
• Utilization: Full-time
• Remote/On-site share: 2-3 days/week on-site in Vienna
• Language: German & English
