Project overview

Mission Context

As part of its activities, the Digital Solutions Department of a major group specializing in environmental services is looking for an experienced Tech Lead to support its teams in adopting new software development practices based on Agentic Engineering.

The mission is part of a modernization of software engineering practices, aiming to integrate AI agent-assisted development tools while maintaining a high level of requirement in terms of architecture, code quality, and maintainability.

The consultant will act as a technical referent for a team of developers. They will be responsible for supervising development, structuring best practices for Agentic Engineering, and supporting the skills development of the teams.

• Location: Le Pecq (78) – 1 day of teleworking per week.
• Full-time.
• Mission start date: As soon as possible.
• Duration: 3 months initially, possible extension (3 to 6 renewable months).
• Ensure technical leadership and supervise software development activities.
• Support the adoption and mastery of Agentic Engineering practices within the teams.
• Guarantee the quality, robustness, and maintainability of the developed solutions.
• Develop the skills of developers in AI-assisted development tools and best software engineering practices.
• Structure and optimize development, testing, and validation processes.
• Improve development productivity and quality through the mastered use of AI agents.
• Implement sustainable, structured, and industrializable development practices.
• Strengthen the autonomy and technical expertise of the teams.
• Ensure the compliance of developments with software quality and architecture standards.

Responsibilities

Expected Deliverables:

• Technically lead a team of developers and support their skill development.
• Supervise architectural choices, developments, and technical directions of the project.
• Implement and promote Agentic Engineering practices using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenCode.
• Apply the concepts of Context Engineering, Harness Engineering, and Spec-Driven Development.
• Define and enforce good development practices: TDD, Clean Code, SOLID principles.
• Ensure code quality through technical reviews and validation processes.
• Organize and implement the various testing phases.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain technological watch on new AI-assisted development practices and solutions.
• Documentation of architectural choices and development standards.
• Guides for Agentic Engineering best practices and the use of associated tools.
• Documented, tested source code compliant with quality standards.
• Test strategy and results of validation campaigns.
• Technical support and documentation to facilitate developer skill development.
