Job description
The role involves performing supervision and enforcement tasks within environmental law and public order and safety. The interim professional will handle enforcement cases, advise stakeholders, draft decisions, and represent the municipality in legal procedures.

The assignment includes performing supervision and enforcement tasks within environmental law and public order and safety.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Handling enforcement cases based on the Environmental Protection Act, the APV, the Alcohol Act, and the Opium Act
- Advising supervisors, community officers, management, and administration on legal issues and enforcement measures
- Drafting enforcement decisions
- Representing the municipality in objection and appeal procedures
- Contributing to the further development and professionalization of enforcement
- Completed legal education at a minimum HBO bachelor level
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a legal officer within the physical domain in the past 5 years
- Demonstrable experience with objection and appeal procedures within environmental law
- Demonstrable experience with independent handling of complex files in the area of the APV and special laws
- Demonstrable experience with complex enforcement files under the Environmental Protection Act in the past 3 years
