Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Reviewing policy proposals and decisions for legal feasibility
- Advising management, executive board, and colleagues on administrative and environmental law issues
- Guiding procedures related to permit granting, enforcement, objections, and appeals
- Representing the municipality in legal proceedings
- Translating developments in laws and regulations into daily practice
- A completed legal study or equivalent education at a minimum HBO bachelor level
- Familiarity with the Environmental Protection Act (Omgevingswet), permit granting, enforcement processes, and administrative law procedures
- Work experience with objection and appeal cases and acting on behalf of the municipality in proceedings
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental law and administrative law
- Experience in advising management, executive board, municipal council, or other administrative bodies
- Experience gained at a municipality or political-administrative organization
- Available and willing to work at least 50% of the time at the office in Twello
