Legal Quality Officer Youth

Project overview

As a legal quality officer, you will monitor the legal quality within youth care for a municipal organization.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Testing decisions and assignments within youth care for legal quality
• Assessing whether decisions comply with the Youth Act, the municipal ordinance, and the assessment framework
• Collaborating with youth directors and colleagues from the municipal access point
• Identifying deviations in files and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting colleagues with legal questions regarding laws and regulations
• Translating recurring bottlenecks and trends into concrete improvement proposals
• Contributing to the improvement of work processes and work instructions and stimulating knowledge sharing
• Completed higher professional education (HBO), preferably in Social Legal Services or a comparable field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within a municipality with work related to legal quality
• Current knowledge of the Youth Act and associated laws and regulations
• Experience in assessing decisions, assignments, and legal rulings
• Familiarity with municipal ordinances, policy rules, and legal assessment frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for legality and efficiency
• Ability to translate legal issues into clear advice
• Strong communication skills in providing constructive advice and feedback
• Independent, accurate, proactive, and results-oriented work style
