Project overview

The Westerwaldklinik Waldbreitbach gGmbH is a modern and efficient rehabilitation clinic for neurology and neurological psychosomatics with 206 beds.

Waldbreitbach is located on the right bank of the Rhine between Koblenz and Bonn in the Wiedtal highlands.

We are looking for a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) starting April 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for financial accounting (accounts receivable/payable/fixed asset accounting, including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB, as well as all tax notifications to the tax authorities).
• Active participation in budgeting, the preparation of economic plans, and monitoring of economic key figures.
• Responsibility for tax reporting and close cooperation with auditors and tax advisors.
• Further development of internal reporting and clinic controlling.
• Representation of the Administrative Director in all operational, economic, and strategic matters of the clinic management. You will be responsible for cross-sectional tasks such as negotiations with payers, data protection, and occupational safety.
• Analysis, management, and further development of administrative and operational processes to increase efficiency and service quality.

Our Offer

The employment is full-time with 39 hours/week and initially limited to 2 years. An indefinite extension is aimed for. In case of a necessary relocation, we may also contribute to the resulting costs.

Management

• You have successfully completed a degree in Health Economics, Business Administration (BWL) with a focus on Finance/Accounting/Taxation, or a comparable qualification.
• You ideally have several years of professional experience in financial accounting in a hospital or rehabilitation sector.
• Analytical thinking, high initiative, and a strong solution-oriented approach are a matter of course for you.
• A demanding, varied leadership position with great scope for design.
