Project overview

We are looking for an experienced specialist for finance and accounting at our location in Thuringia. In this responsible position, you will work on-site and contribute significantly to the financial stability and efficiency of our company.

Your tasks include the independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, including all relevant closing activities. You will manage and ensure the smooth national and international payment transactions and coordinate cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, as well as authorities and offices. Furthermore, you will manage and monitor sub-ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting, and actively contribute to the analysis, optimization, and further development of financial processes.

An important aspect of your work is the introduction of efficient digital solutions and systems.

For this position, you should have successfully completed a degree in business administration, accounting, or a comparable field with a focus on finance. You have several years of professional experience in financial accounting, controlling, or tax, ideally in industrial companies or with auditing or tax consulting firms. Sound knowledge of financial statement preparation according to HGB and IFRS, as well as dealing with tax issues, is required. Practical experience with ERP and financial systems, preferably SAP FI, as well as proficiency with MS Office, is assumed.

Very good German and English skills complete your profile. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
