Job description

This position, based in COURBEVOIE, is for a 3-month mission with the possibility of integration.

The gross annual salary is negotiable based on your experience.

Within the B2B financing subsidiary of a major international group leader in industrial technologies, energy, and health, you will join the Finance Department to drive the economic and financial performance of the activities.

Reporting directly to the Management Control Manager, you will work within a human-sized financial team, connected to local operational departments as well as the financial bodies of the European headquarters.

You will act as a true strategic Business Partner for cross-functional teams (sales, operations, accounting, risk) and participate in digitalization projects and the integration of artificial intelligence applied to financial data management.

Responsibilities

Budgets, Forecasts & P&L: Actively participate in the annual budget elaboration, build monthly closing/forecasts, and perform detailed variance analysis on the income statement.

Monthly Closings: Coordinate accounting closing activities in conjunction with the accounting teams and ensure the correct valuation and accuracy of provisions recorded on the balance sheet.

Decision Support & Strategic Steering: Analyze performance, identify profitability levers, model risks and opportunities to inform the decisions of the General Management and the international Parent Company.

Operational Flow Monitoring: Ensure the control and optimization of general expenses, as well as rigorous monitoring of financial flows from customers and supplier partners.

Data & Cross-functional Projects: Conduct ad-hoc financial studies, contribute to the automation of dashboards (via Power BI) and the modernization of data processing processes.

Candidate profile

Master's degree (Bac +5) in management control/audit/corporate finance, or higher accounting qualification (DSCG).

Minimum 5 years of experience

Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, complex formulas, Pivot Tables).

Data Visualization & Data Aptitude: Proficiency in decision support reporting tools (especially Power BI).

A strong interest in database management and exploration of automation/AI tools is expected.

Solid fundamentals in general accounting, financial standards, and closing/provisioning mechanisms.

(C1 minimum), used daily in oral and written communication with teams based abroad and the group's headquarters
