Manufacturing Controller

Project overview

+ Independent scheduling and monitoring of assigned manufacturing areas using ERP, APS, and shop floor management

+ Independent identification of improvement potentials to increase schedule adherence and utilization within the assigned manufacturing area, development of concepts and presentation to manufacturing area managers.

+ Early recognition of unsolvable schedule delays and proactive identification and communication of new schedules

+ Execution of shop floor management

+ Operational conflict resolution to ensure customer deadlines in close cooperation with production, purchasing, and project coordinators

+ Review, decision, and execution of order cancellations

Requirements

+ Completed technical degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology) or comparable training with several years of professional experience and further training as a master craftsman, technician, or comparable qualification

+ Sound knowledge in the manufacturing of production parts with a focus on turning/eroding/surface and cylindrical grinding

+ Sound experience in the strategic use and interpretation of key figures

Experience and good knowledge in handling ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV), production planning and control systems, and Advanced Planning and Scheduling

+ Experience in shop floor management

+ Confident reading of technical drawings
