Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to provide the following services in the project as soon as possible:

Background

The project supports our client in introducing a methodology for assessing and improving industrial process maturity. The focus is on stable, efficient, and standardized manufacturing and assembly processes. The MRL and TRL processes for considering manufacturing and technology maturity are taken into account and linked with industrial process validation.

Responsibilities

• Introduce the methodology in concrete use cases and guide project teams
• Assess process maturity and derive action requirements for maturity gates
• Consider MRL/TRL requirements and interfaces
• Analyze manufacturing and assembly processes as well as industrial KPIs
• Investigate process variations and implement improvement measures
• Accompany tests and simulations and evaluate results
• Conduct workshops
• Track progress, responsibilities, and actions

Requirements

• Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering as well as shop floor understanding
• Maturity level management: MRL/TRL processes
• Process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, and Value Stream Analysis
• Statistical data analysis: SPC, Design of Experiments, and Regression
• Root cause, risk, and process capability analyses
• Project management, change management, workshop moderation, and stakeholder communication
• Google Workspace as well as very good German and English
