Master Data Specialist

Responsibilities

Co-responsible for the creation, modification, and release of SAP PM master data, considering "first time right". This includes, among others:

Co-responsible for the optimal operation of processes and transactions for users in SAP PM. This means:

• Advising applicants and managing MDM requests
• Checking applications for completeness according to the relevant SOPs and managing the applications
• Recording, checking, and releasing data using single or mass changes in SAP and their documentation
• Providing data and information for a smooth MDM process
• SAP PM Master Data Life Cycle process with the relevant systems
• Managing support and MDM requests to the D&S team
• Ensuring first-level support and escalating requests
• Ensuring the SAP PM order process and associated documents
• Recording and managing order documents (physical and digital)
• Creating data extracts, performing analyses, and writing reports
• Participating in and processing tasks and to-dos in projects, working groups, and meetings of Data and Support or as a functional representative of D&S
• Supporting SMEs with projects, incidents, change/service requests
• Promoting open and transparent communication with colleagues, superiors, and stakeholders (local and global) for optimal collaboration and high work quality.

Requirements

• Technical or commercial vocational qualification or high school diploma
• Very precise and reliable work
• German (native level), good English skills
• High IT affinity
• Experience using business applications such as Office, ITSM, DMS
• Several years of experience with SAP EAM in the master data environment
• Experience in creating evaluations and analyzing data
• Participation in projects
