Material Planner (Paris)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Material Planner for a temporary position of 3-6 months at our Paris location. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive supply chain professional to support material availability, production planning, and inventory management in a dynamic operating environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of materials in the right quantity and at the right time to meet operational and production requirements. Collaboration with suppliers, procurement, production, and the extended supply chain team is central to this role.

Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring material plans, ensuring material availability according to demand forecasts and production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying and mitigating bottlenecks. You will work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to manage orders, delivery schedules, and lead times. Furthermore, you will analyze material requirements and inventory fluctuations to minimize excess stock and prevent production disruptions.

We expect proven experience in a similar role as well as in-depth knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory control, and supply chain processes. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills complete the profile. Fluency in English is required; French language skills are an advantage.
