Assignment description

Department information

As a Business Consultant, you will work in the Planning team of the Chain Development department. The team is in full development and plays an important role in the further professionalization of the planning process within the high and medium voltage stations (HS/MS) department. We are working on a future-proof design of the planning process, in which working methods and digital support effectively align. At the same time, we ensure that the current process continues to function well. We work closely with colleagues from other departments within Enexis.

In this way, we ensure that the different plans align better and we build more coherence, overview, and predictability within the entire organization.

Background

The energy transition is causing a strong growth in activities and makes a reliable and predictable plan more important than ever. That is why we are working on the further professionalization of our planning chain, improving our processes and implementing two new planning tools for tactical and operational planning.

Job description

As a Business Consultant Process & Planning, you combine the role of business consultant and process manager. You are responsible for guiding these changes and for continuously improving the planning process. You analyze bottlenecks, bring structure to complex issues, and ensure that processes, systems, and working methods align well.

Together with colleagues from the chain, operations, and IT, you will realize supported improvements that are effectively implemented in the organization. You use data and insights to support decision-making and ensure that improvements are embedded in the planning process.

Requirements & Preferences

A relevant HBO and/or WO education (e.g., business administration/informatics or a technical education)

At least three years of experience as a Business Consultant or process manager

Strong affinity with planning processes, capacity issues, and planning systems

Affinity with data-driven work and experience in translating insights into concrete process improvements

Experience with Agile/SAFe is a plus

Knowledge and experience in the energy sector is a plus

A Lean Six Sigma certification; Green Belt or higher is a plus
