Medior Communication Advisor

Project overview

As a communication advisor, you will work on the internal communication of Programma Morrígan within Defensie.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Develop and execute the communication plan for Morrígan, targeting CLAS, COMMIT, D-I&T, D-PLAN, and the Executive Staff
• Develop communication tools and messages for various internal target groups
• Assist the program manager regarding communication with stakeholders and preparing executive briefings
• Ensure a consistent positioning of Morrígan within the army and Defensie
• Inform and involve internal ambassadors and knowledge institutions, including the Land Warfare Centre and 43 Mechanized Brigade
• Organize and guide internal presentations, briefings, and information meetings
• Identify communication risks and advise on support and expectation management
• Coordinate communication messages with the Hague staff and policy departments
• Bachelor's degree in communication or a similar field, or demonstrably equivalent work and thinking level
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the last 10 years with internal communication in large (governmental) organizations
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the last 10 years with setting up and executing internal communication plans
• Skilled in translating complex technical and strategic information into clear internal messages
• Ability to create support and manage expectations at multiple levels
• Availability from September 1st for 20 to 32 hours per week
• Willingness to travel to various defense locations within the Netherlands
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
