Enexis provides energy where people need light and heat! Enexis Netbeheer, part of Enexis Groep, supplies electricity and gas to over 3 million households and businesses in the Netherlands. You will join us at an interesting time. The energy transition is in full swing, and you will feel that in every fiber of our organization. Smart maintenance, feeding back energy, living gas-free, generating wind energy, and so on, we are working hard to make it possible. This leads to all sorts of processes where you can make a valuable contribution.
As a Smallworld DevOps Engineer, you will work within the Asset Registration value chain, in the team that manages the cloud infrastructure for it. The chain is responsible for making Enexis asset information available to over 2700 users. You will do this by offering solution directions, after which you will work on the chosen solution yourself. You don't have to do it alone! We work in DevOps teams, which means the team is responsible for both realization and management: developing, testing, and managing, from start to finish.
We work from home a lot, but as a team, we also regularly meet in the Den Bosch region. As an organization, we work from an Agile mindset and according to Scrum principles. You will develop agilely on CI/CD and automation of our Smallworld platform. Think of automatic testing and deployment of releases and supporting the development teams. You will use tools like Gitlab, Ansible, and Docker. You will program in Magik but also use Shell scripting and other languages.
Furthermore, you will remain alert to new technologies that can help our ICT landscape take a leap forward. In short: a versatile role that will not bore you quickly, but where you, as a Smallworld DevOps Engineer, need to be quite sharp.
In this role, you will occasionally work in the evenings or on weekends, and there will be an on-call duty for disruptions. There is a rotation schedule within the team that you will participate in.
This is you! A customer-oriented team player and a driven automator, who communicates easily with others and who enjoys guiding team members with less experience. Thanks to your know-how, you can also quickly contribute fully within the team. Important, because with an energy transition in full swing, there is more than enough to do.
