Responsibilities

For our foundry, we are looking for a reliable colleague who ensures that molten iron is available for the production of our products in the melting operations. This includes:

What makes you stand out:

Training as a foundry mechanic or corresponding professional experience in iron foundry is an advantage, alternatively, completed training in a recognized apprenticeship, e.g., as a machine and plant operator.

Forklift license desirable.

• Melting molten iron in the cupola furnace.
• Sampling of molten iron.
• Dosing of scrap according to recipe.
• Transport of raw and auxiliary materials.
• Working on the furnace platform as well as the holding furnace and ladle area.
• Repair and relining of refractories in the melting operations area.
