As a Mid-Level Capital Markets Operations Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution specializing in investment banking services. You will support global capital markets transactions across equities, bonds, and derivatives, playing a pivotal role in streamlining operations, ensuring accurate trade processing, and maintaining compliance in a fast-paced, international environment. - Provide operational support to traders for securities, cash, and derivatives transactions
- Monitor trade flows and ensure timely matching and settlement
- Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies and failed transactions
- Maintain and update static data across internal systems
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders
- Perform reconciliations between internal and external records
- Collaborate with brokers, custodians, and transfer agents globally
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives
- Participate in system changes and team-level implementations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and market regulations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in capital markets operations or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
- Ability to analyze and solve problems under pressure
- Willingness to learn and develop within the capital markets industry
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Experience in or willingness to understand financial instruments and trade lifecycle
- Degree in finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfort with multi-party communication across global teams
- Certification in finance or capital markets
- Experience with trading systems or related software
