MLOps Engineer (m/f/d) Recommendation Systems

Project overview

On behalf of our client, we are looking for support in a freelance position as

MLOps Engineer (m/f/d) Recommendation Systems

Reference: 30639

Duties:

• Productionize the Recommendation Engine (MLOps, high availability, scalability)
• Build scalable low-latency APIs (<100ms) serving consistent recommendation payloads across App, Web, and CRM
• Design data pipelines for data integration and model training
• Ensure quality across the ML lifecycle (testing, model comparison, CI/CD)
• Act as technical sparring partner for stakeholders on risks, trade-offs, and feasibility

Requirements

-Several years of senior experience in MLOps and productionizing ML models (cloud)

-Proven expertise in building high-performance, low-latency prediction APIs

-Strong skills in data pipeline architecture (batch pipelines, data integration)

-Experience with ML-specific CI/CD: data tracking, model comparison, automated testing

-Ownership mindset: high code quality, proactive communication, challenges requirements

-Fluent English

Nice to have

-Engineering background

-Experience with DataRobot, Snowflake, and/or dbt
