For our client, we are currently looking for several Network Security Engineers (m/f/d) with a focus on DMZ, Firewall, Proxy, and Application Layer Gateways to support the operation, maintenance, and further development of a security-critical network infrastructure.

Junior Account Manager

• Min. 5 years of experience in planning and conception of DMZ and security architectures based on BSI basic protection (at least VS-NfD and PersDatSB2)
• Min. 5 years of experience with network transitions, network protocols, broadband network systems (100 Gbit/s and larger), and SSL offloading
• Profound knowledge in reading, understanding, and creating network topologies
• Min. 5 years of experience in planning, implementation, commissioning, and operation of complex IT infrastructures
• Min. 5 years of experience with infrastructure changes, network expansions, and consolidations
• Min. 5 years of experience in creating and maintaining technical concepts, documentation, and work instructions
• Demonstrable experience with at least 3 of the following 6 product families:
• Cisco Email Security Appliances (C390/C395, C300V/C600V, M300V)
• Citrix ADC (SDX 16030, 15030)
• Check Point Firewalls (Quantum Security Gateway, GAIA, VSX, MDS)
• Skyhigh Web Security Appliance (SWGWG5500-F)
• Fortinet FortiWeb (4000F, 3000F)
• SFS Crush FTP
• Very good German skills (C1) and English skills (B1)

Service Description:

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of existing DMZ and network security infrastructures
• Handling of incidents including troubleshooting, log analysis, and change management via MAXIMO
• Performing updates and patches on Application Layer Gateways from manufacturers Cisco, Citrix, Skyhigh, Check Point, and Fortinet
• Adjustment and optimization of existing firewall, proxy, and security configurations
• Planning and implementation of network expansions including VLAN configuration, IP addressing, and cabling planning
• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of physical and virtual network systems
• Implementation and adaptation of security rules and SSL offloading configurations
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, operating manuals, and work instructions
