Job description
Seeking a .NET Developer to provide 2nd level support, operate, monitor, and develop applications migrated from GUPTA Team Developer to C#.NET. The role involves error analysis, bug fixing, and adapting applications using C#.NET, Excel-VBA, and SQL/PLSQL.

Responsibilities
- 2nd level support for several business applications of a public contracting authority
- Operation and monitoring of applications and interfaces (e.g., jobs, data transfer processes)
- Creation of standard Excel evaluations and ad-hoc SQL queries
- Error analysis and bug fixing in business applications migrated from GUPTA Team Developer to C#.NET
- Adaptation and further development of applications in C#.NET, Excel-VBA, and SQL/PLSQL (Oracle)
- Maintenance of existing programs and interfaces as well as integration of new modules
- Quality assurance of code and framework updates
- Further development of import and export interfaces for data exchange with external partners
- Technical coordination with internal IT managers and business departments
Requirements
Framework Details
- Experience in programming with C#.NET or Visual Basic.NET, ideally at least 24 months
- Experience in migrating and supporting business applications that have been migrated from GUPTA Team Developer to C#/.NET
- Experience in programming with Wisej.NET and the PPJ Framework
- Experience in database development with Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL)
- Experience in programming with GUPTA Team Developer including Building Blocks
- Experience in programming Excel-VBA applications (including VBScript)
- Experience in creating List & Label reports
- Knowledge of version control with SVN and/or Git
- Very good German language skills, as all communication takes place in German
- Willingness to work on-site in Gießen; the rest of the work will be done remotely
- Project duration: 12 months
