Coordinate and approve network change requests, manage Change Advisory Board meetings, and ensure high-quality change planning to minimize risks.
Responsibilities
Profile
- Review, coordination, and approval of change requirements for the assigned network area.
- Organization, preparation, moderation, and documentation of weekly CAB meetings (Change Advisory Board).
- Ensuring high-quality change planning and coordination to minimize risks during change implementation.
- Technical assessment of changes (impact, risks, dependencies) and approval or rejection.
- Ensuring complete change documentation, including risk mitigation measures (e.g., tests, fallback/rollback plans/validation).
- Planning or assessing the planning of changes in your own area, considering the overall context of the technical domain.
- Coordination of changes with other OEs and customers; identifying, avoiding, and resolving discrepancies and scheduling conflicts.
- Initiating improvements and changes to the change process as needed, in coordination with the process owner. (e.g., standard changes).
- Participation in emergency/urgent changes and representation in the change process.
- Reporting relevant key figures (e.g., change success rate, emergency changes) to the process owner.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German (CAB meetings and documentation in English and German).
- Sound ServiceNow knowledge in Change Management.
- Very good understanding of ITIL processes, especially Change Management.
- Knowledge in the area of network/firewall, including understanding of technical impacts.
- Experience in coordination with different OEs and customers.
