Project overview
For our client, we are looking for a freelance OpenStack & Python Developer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure, storage, and virtualization.
Start - asap
Fulltime (40h/week)
Duration - 6 months+
Fully remote in European timezone
Responsibilities
Required Skills
- Develop and enhance cloud infrastructure solutions using OpenStack and Kubernetes
- Implement and optimize storage solutions with OpenStack Cinder and Manila
- Develop and automate infrastructure processes using Python
- Integrate and manage NetApp storage systems
- Configure and optimize virtualization environments using KVM or VMware
- Support the operation and scaling of complex cloud infrastructures
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and storage-related issues
- Strong expertise in OpenStack (Cinder & Manila) and Kubernetes
- Excellent Python development skills (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with NetApp and KVM (mandatory)
- Knowledge of hypervisors, preferably KVM or VMware
- Strong understanding of storage technologies and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure and cloud-native environments
- Experience in infrastructure automation and integration
