• You are responsible for the operational procurement of metals and metallic materials within a purchasing volume of approx. 10 million Euros
• You check and process demand requirements and ensure needs-based and timely material supply
• You create and process orders, including the necessary communication and correspondence with suppliers
• You support ongoing projects with material procurement and coordinate closely with the involved specialist departments
• You maintain orders, order confirmations, and relevant data in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and ensure their completeness
• You proactively monitor order and delivery dates and initiate appropriate measures in case of impending delays
• You check and process invoices for your orders and clarify any discrepancies
• You support price negotiations with suppliers and conduct them in coordination with the purchasing organization

Your Qualifications

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification
• You have sound professional experience in operational purchasing or in a comparable commercial position
• You ideally have experience in purchasing metals, steel, or other technical materials
• You have good knowledge of order processing, supplier communication, and monitoring delivery dates
• You have experience working with project-oriented specialist departments and reliably support procurement processes
• You have sound practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and can use the system reliably for operational order processing
• You are characterized by a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• You convince with strong communication skills, organizational talent, and negotiation skills
• You have good German language skills, both written and spoken
