Freelance SAP HCM Payroll Specialist | Duisburg | Hybrid

For an ongoing project at our client in Duisburg, we are urgently looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Specialist.

The focus is on the operational support of German payroll. Therefore, we are not looking for a purely strategic SAP consultant, but someone who knows SAP HCM Payroll from practice, can independently support payroll runs, and can analyze and fix errors directly in the system.

• Operational support of monthly payroll with SAP HCM Payroll / PY-DE
• Execution and control of payroll runs and payroll simulations
• Analysis and correction of incorrect payroll results
• Support and adaptation of wage types, schemes, and payroll calculation rules (PCR)
• Processing of retroactive calculations, special payments, and more complex payroll cases
• Checking and maintaining payroll-relevant master and transactional data
• Support with topics related to wage tax and social security
• Support of relevant follow-up activities and reporting procedures
• Reconciliation of payroll results with HR and Finance
• Analysis of existing process and interface problems
• Support in optimizing and stabilizing existing payroll processes
• Documentation of adjustments and solutions
• Several years of practical experience with SAP HCM Payroll
• Very good knowledge of SAP HCM PY-DE
• Experience in operational German payroll processing
• Good knowledge of customizing wage types, schemes, and PCRs
• Experience with payroll simulations, retroactive calculations, and error analysis
• Profound knowledge of German wage tax and social security law
• Understanding of the interfaces between Payroll, HR, Time Management, and Finance
• Ability to independently analyze and directly implement existing problems
• Very good German language skills
