My client, a health research organisation are currently looking for a People Operations & Payroll Assistant to join their Team and support with people operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll and other people operations duties.
Responsibilities

People Operations & Payroll Assistant / Initially a 5-month contract position / London, Hybrid / Up to £300 per day (Umbrella rate)
- Process and support the monthly payroll, ensuring employee pay is accurate and on time
- Maintain employee records and update HR and payroll systems with any changes
- Manage employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, contract changes and offboarding
- Prepare employment documents such as contracts, offer letters and amendment letters
- Handle employee queries and provide day-to-day HR and payroll support
- Produce reports, ensure data accuracy and help improve HR processes and systems
- Previous experience in HR administration, People Operations or payroll support positions
- Good understanding of payroll processes and HR procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee data
- Experience using HR systems and payroll software
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Up to £300 per day (Umbrella rate)
- Hybrid working
