Performance Steering Specialist

Project overview

For a demanding project in the financial sector, we are looking for a Performance Steering Specialist at a location in Germany with the possibility of 40% remote work.

In this role, you will support an experienced team in the implementation and optimization of performance steering systems. Your tasks include contributing to the definition and parameterization of new reporting systems, validating test results, and ensuring the accuracy of relevant performance indicators such as assets, net new cash, and P&L indicators.

You will document test protocols and release reports, create system documentation, and maintain end-user documentation. Furthermore, you will support the team in operational business to ensure continuous reporting and performance monitoring. An important aspect of your work is identifying optimization potential in existing processes.

We are looking for a candidate with a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Sound experience in Performance Steering, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Controlling, as well as proven knowledge in financial reporting, is required. User Acceptance Testing, finance testing methods, or business analysis experience in the financial services sector are essential.

You are characterized by strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and mathematical diligence. Strong communication skills in exchanges with technical and business stakeholders, as well as excellent time and project management, are required. Experience with core system replacements or extensive IT financial transformations is an advantage.

The project starts in November 2026 with a duration of 11 months and an utilization of 80%.
