Experienced Interface Coordinator Archaeology (m/f/d) sought for a long-term infrastructure project between Frankfurt and Mannheim. The role involves coordinating archaeological activities and acting as a central interface between clients, authorities, and external excavation companies.

For a long-term infrastructure project in the Frankfurt to Mannheim region, an experienced Interface Coordinator Archaeology (m/f/d) is sought immediately.
We are looking for a highly communicative individual with an archaeological background who will act as the central interface between the client, authorities, and external excavation companies, coordinating archaeological activities within a significant route project.

Responsibilities
Coordination between client, authorities, and external excavation companies
Coordination and management of archaeological preliminary investigations
Tracking of ongoing measures on investigation areas
Monitoring and coordination of findings and find sites
Evaluation and technical discussion of archaeological findings
Support in approval and release processes
Ensuring communication between all involved specialist areas
Coordination of archaeological procedures with the responsible heritage authorities
Coordination and management of external excavation companies
Review of documentation, reports, and investigation results
Active stakeholder management and coordination of all project participants
Requirements
Completed degree or comparable qualification in Archaeology
Several years of professional experience in infrastructure or route projects
Experience in dealing with heritage authorities
Experience in approval and release processes
Experience in managing external service providers or excavation companies
Strong communication and coordination skills
Experience in stakeholder management
Good understanding of technical documentation and reports
Independent and structured way of working
Project language: German
Advantageous
Experience in power line projects
Experience in pipeline and cable route projects
Experience in railway projects
Experience in road construction projects
