Platform Engineer with Expertise in Kubernetes

Department of User Experience and Data Sharing (BOD) in the Digitalization Directorate (Digdir) needs 1 Platform Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes.

We want a senior resource with a minimum of 5 years of documented experience.

The hired resource will primarily work with the platform products for Altinn 3 – in connection with the development, management, and operation of the solution.

MUST-haves:

We want the consultant with:

· Very good experience with development of back-end/infrastructure – preferably Golang, Kubernetes, monitoring, GitOps and Terraform. Development and maintenance of Kubernetes operators

· Good experience with operation and management of container-based applications in a Kubernetes-based cloud solution. Operation and management of PostgreSQL databases

· Good experience working in a cross-functional, agile DevOps team, be forward-thinking and take initiative within the professional field

• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of documented experience as a Platform Engineer
• Must master Norwegian well – both written and spoken

Project details

Position is 100% for 1 year; option for 6+6 months. Estimated start date: 30.11.2026.

Work location is Digdir's premises in Oslo (Økern Portal)

Physical presence at the office: 2 - 3 days/week - by agreement

Upon commencement, a confidentiality agreement must be signed. The consultant shall also participate in other activities requested by the Client, within the framework of the Agreement.
