Experienced PMO Consultant needed to support AI Risk and Defensive AI initiatives for an established insurance company. The role involves project monitoring, reporting, risk management, and resource planning.
Project overview
For an established company in the insurance industry, we are looking for an experienced PMO Consultant (m/f/d) to support in the area of AI Risk and Defensive AI.
Responsibilities
You monitor project progress and keep an eye on budgets, deadlines, and quality requirements. You create and prepare status reports for management and relevant decision-makers. By identifying project risks early on, you coordinate appropriate countermeasures with project management.
Furthermore, you coordinate cross-project resource and personnel planning to identify potential bottlenecks early on. You support the management of the project portfolio, pick up new project ideas, and prioritize them. In doing so, you consistently align new project ideas and activities with the overarching project goals.
Requirements
You have extensive experience in Project Management Office (PMO), ideally from a comparable large corporate environment. Experience in the AI environment or in the area of Defensive AI is an advantage. You have fluent German language skills at a native level.

Primarily remote with on-site components in the greater Nuremberg area
Utilization: Part-time, 10 hours per week
Approximately 12 months with an option for extension
