Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) for a freelance engagement in a complex project and program environment. The position offers the possibility of remote work and is to be filled immediately.

Your tasks include supporting the further development of project management standards, templates, and tools, as well as PMO support in large, complex projects. You will be responsible for managing and tracking risks, dependencies, and changes. Furthermore, you will be involved in project and program controlling as well as reporting, and you will create and secure important project documents and management materials. You will prepare and follow up on workshops, steering committees, and management bodies, coordinate with project participants and stakeholders, and support test management.

We expect extensive experience in the PMO of programs or large projects in a corporate environment, as well as very good knowledge of common project and program management methods such as PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA/GPM, Scrum, or SAFe. Your previous experience as a project manager, sub-project manager, or PMO is required. Experience in project controlling, ideally with Earned Value Analysis, as well as in risk, dependency, and rollout management are necessary. A valid project or program management certification is a prerequisite.

Experience in test management or test coordination, as well as an ISTQB certification, are advantageous. You will be working for a renowned company with an excellent reputation. The location is Hessen.
