• Develop and implement local housing and public housing policy based on legislation and regulations, societal developments, and housing market trends.
• Draft, coordinate, evaluate, and update housing programs, action plans, and visions, including housing construction programming, housing policy, and housing care policy.
• Advise management, executive board, and council on housing and public housing, including themes such as housing construction, affordability, liveability, and housing for specific target groups.
• Advise on housing construction initiatives and other developments in the housing sector, including from the administrative intake table.
• Ensure internal coordination and represent the municipality in regional and sub-regional partnerships.
• Contribute to the joint strategic direction and the implementation program within the Westelijke Mijnstreek.
• Demonstrable experience with policy processes and considerable independence is desired for this position, preferably within the field of housing and public housing within a government organization. The candidate possesses: Strong analytical, policy, and advisory skills.
• Political sensitivity and the ability to operate within a complex field of forces.
• Ability to collaborate integrally and regionally and to connect different interests.
• Affinity with regional developments and the public housing challenges in the Westelijke Mijnstreek.
• Competitive fixed salary, depending on knowledge and experience;
• 25 vacation days and 8.33% holiday allowance;
• 7.55% 13th month payment;
