Project overview

We are looking for a Principal Power BI Expert to provide consulting support in semantic modeling. The goal is to guide architecture and best practice processes within a classic BI environment.

The role focuses on consulting on semantic layer modeling and transferring expert knowledge on Tabular Editor. You will work closely with the teams to establish architectural standards and strengthen technical expertise in Data Modeling.

• Supporting the implementation of requirements in the classic BI environment
• Developing and transferring in-depth knowledge in handling Tabular Editor
• Designing the solution architecture for complex data structures
• Applying expert knowledge in finance and accounting for modeling
• Ensuring quality in data modeling through architectural guidelines
• Many years of professional experience as an expert in Power BI and semantic modeling
• In-depth knowledge in solution architecture and data modeling
• Confident handling of Tabular Editor and the design of a Semantic Layer
• Professional expertise in finance and accounting
• English at B2 level and German at C1 level
• Independent and long-term working style for knowledge transfer within the team
• Professional experience at expert level
