Principal IT Consultant – Passive Network Infrastructure & IT Strategy

Project overview

For a comprehensive network transformation program, we are looking for an experienced Principal IT Consultant (m/f/d) with a focus on passive network infrastructure, IT strategy, and infrastructure transformation. The position is predominantly remote.

Responsibilities

You will conduct structured analyses of existing IT and network infrastructures and develop technical target states and solution approaches. You will capture and evaluate technical and business requirements, develop strategic action options, and create IT strategies, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps. Furthermore, you will advise on the design of IT operating models, evaluate new technologies regarding economic efficiency and security, and support the further development of technology-related product portfolios.

Further responsibilities include the analysis of infrastructure locations, the identification of technical and economic risks, and the creation of decision-making bases for management and stakeholders. You will provide knowledge transfer and enable internal teams to independently continue the work.

Requirements

You bring sound experience in IT infrastructure consulting, possess in-depth knowledge of passive network infrastructure, and can demonstrably develop IT strategies and transformation programs. Your expertise in IT operating models and governance requirements is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability for knowledge transfer complete your profile.
