Process Developer Automation Technology

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced process developer in automation technology for the project planning and optimization of complex control systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete development of automation solutions – from concept creation through programming to commissioning.

Your tasks include programming PLC controls with modern software solutions, project planning of bus systems and drive systems, as well as analyzing and optimizing networked systems. You will independently manage sub-projects in automation and ensure that electrical installations are reliably commissioned. Furthermore, you will create documentation, conduct user training, and continuously optimize processes for the material and transport control system. You will act economically in supplier selection and budget responsibility and consistently implement relevant safety standards.

For this position, you should have a relevant vocational training (3 years) with a technical college degree or a university of applied sciences degree. At least 3 years of professional experience in automation technology are required. You have sound knowledge of SIMATIC Step7 Classic V5.X and/or TIA Portal with WINCC Advanced, Professional, and Unified. Experience with drive technology from established manufacturers is an advantage. Very good German language skills complete your profile.
