Process Director

Project overview

Within the Backbone program, the process director is responsible for the process analysis and harmonization of HR, Procurement, and Finance processes at WUR.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Supporting the process owner and representing the business in the assessment of business processes
• Directing the end-to-end process analysis together with business analysts
• Monitoring the quality and completeness of the AS-IS description and identifying bottlenecks and dependencies
• Promoting unambiguous processes by discussing differences and exceptions
• Ensuring alignment and support among stakeholders by validating process descriptions
• Preparing decision-making on bottlenecks, standardization, and process design
• Connecting business, IT, and organizational units around chain-wide issues
• Ensuring a uniform approach to process analysis so that results are comparable
• University work and thinking level, preferably with training or certification in process management or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Demonstrable experience in initiating and guiding organization-wide change and implementation projects, preferably focused on process harmonization and ERP renewal
• Broad knowledge of process management, end-to-end chain processes, process analysis, and process standardization
• Knowledge of BPMN, with experience in analyzing and describing business processes
• Ability to switch between strategic ambitions, concrete process design, and daily practice
• Proven experience in guiding complex process analyses and connecting stakeholders with diverse interests
• Organizational sensitivity and change management strength to create support without formal power
• Strong conceptual and analytical ability to oversee end-to-end chains and dependencies
