Job description

Experienced Process Engineering Engineer needed for a site in Rhineland-Palatinate to support tender and project phases for container and power plant facilities. Responsibilities include technical analysis, documentation control, and process cycle design.

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineering Engineer for our site in Rhineland-Palatinate. You will be part of a dynamic team and contribute significantly to the technical support of tender and project phases.

Your tasks include the analysis and evaluation of tender documents for container and power plant facilities as well as conducting technical clarification meetings on-site. You will be responsible for the adaptation and control of technical documents such as designs, specifications, and P&I diagrams. A focus will be on the design of process engineering cycles (cooling, oil, and steam cycles) and the selection of suitable plant components.

Furthermore, you will create energy balances for existing plants and develop suggestions for improvement. You will support cost optimization projects to increase customer benefit and conduct cross-departmental technical discussions on plant layout and equipment arrangement. Revision-controlled archiving of technical documents is also part of your responsibilities.

You have a degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur, Bachelor, or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field. Several years of experience in process engineering for power plants or general plant construction are required. Knowledge of applicable methods and standards in energy plant construction (e.g., DVGW, VGB) is assumed. Experience in plant optimization is advantageous, as is knowledge from commissioning or operation & maintenance.

You work in a structured, goal-oriented, and independent manner. Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, are required. A willingness to travel approximately 25% for construction sites, customer meetings, and workshops is necessary.
