Job description
Support the Plant Manager Filling & Packing in merging two production lines and their teams by identifying improvement areas, developing new processes, and coaching team leaders.
Project overview
The assignment is aimed at supporting the Plant Manager Filling & Packing in merging two production lines and their associated teams.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Perform a baseline measurement and map out improvement points in the production environment
- Formulate concrete improvement goals and associated KPIs
- Develop and document uniform work instructions and processes
- Implement improvement proposals and guide Level 1 Root Cause Analyses
- Strengthen training, skills, and flexible deployability of employees
- Promote collaboration between operators, team leaders, and support departments
- Monitor and report on progress and adjust improvement actions
- Ensure new working methods and responsibilities are embedded within the line organization
- Coach team leaders in their daily management of the department
- Minimum 5 years of experience with process improvement in an industrial production environment
- Experience with Root Cause Analyses as a must-have
- Background in the food or packaging industry or similar
- Technical background as a plus
- Experience with writing work instructions and implementing improvement proposals
- Strong communication skills in Dutch
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and creating work instructions and templates
- Knowledge of Ultimo is desired
- Bachelor's work and thinking level
