Project overview

As part of the internal development of an employee towards a Procurement Director role, we are looking for an experienced Transition Manager in Procurement Management, for a mentoring and operational support mission within an industrial SME located in the North.

The objective of the mission is to support them in this new role, develop their posture as Procurement Director, and strengthen their strategic and managerial skills.

Profile sought:

We are looking for a former Procurement Director or an experienced Procurement Director, who has worked in industrial environments, ideally in SMEs or mid-sized companies.

Beyond business expertise, successful prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or supporting directors/managers is essential.

You are recognized for your teaching skills, your ability to transmit knowledge, your listening skills, and your aptitude for developing an employee without replacing them.

• Support the skill development of the future Procurement Director through structured and pragmatic mentoring.
• Transmit the methods, tools, and best practices of an industrial Procurement Department.
• Help them transition from a procurement logic to a true strategic vision of Procurement.
• Develop their ability to drive procurement performance, supplier negotiations, and risk management.
• Support them in their managerial posture, their ability to step back, and their positioning with management.
• Foster their progressive autonomy in exercising their new responsibilities.
