Product Development Engineer Single-Use Systems

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer to support the further development of innovative single-use systems for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

You will evaluate and process existing designs for single-use assemblies in the biopharmaceutical upstream and downstream areas. You will define and specify plastic fluid lines, hose systems, and relevant single-use components, taking into account technical, quality-related, and regulatory requirements. You will create and maintain product specifications, bills of materials, and development documentation. Another focus will be on documenting verification and validation concepts as well as evaluating test results.

The goal is to provide a documented development solution as a basis for prototype construction and industrialization.

Requirements

You have a technical background in product development, plastics technology, or fluid technology. You have knowledge of design reviews and technical decision-making processes. Experience with single-use systems, fluid management systems, hose systems, plastic components, filtration, pumps, and sensors is advantageous. You understand quality-related and regulated development processes from areas such as medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology. Familiarity with SAP and Polarion is desirable.
