The acquisition and supervision information system ensures the acquisition of data from metering devices and the technical and business supervision of the remote reading chain. Two main functionalities: management of the daily remote reading process, and technical and functional supervision of the communication chain (status of equipment, network performance). Approximately 10,000 concentrators deployed, radio LAN communication and WAN link to the IS.
Performance objectives: collection rate (frames processed during the same gas day) and reading rate. The IS relies on a third-party solution for managing communications with concentrators and on a PKI (EJBCA) to secure access to the communication chain.
