Job description
As an IAM Building Block Product Specialist, you will be central to the daily management and further development of the IAM chain, ensuring continuity, optimization, reliability, and security within a complex ICT environment.
Project overview
Assignment Description
As an IAM Building Block Product Specialist, you are central to both the daily management and further development of the IAM chain. You primarily manage continuity and also contribute to the optimization of technical operations within a complex ICT environment, continuously ensuring the reliability, continuity, and security of systems. Thanks to your experience within complex ICT chains, Identity & Access Management, and security, you ensure that processes not only run efficiently but also demonstrably comply with relevant laws and regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, BIO, and NIS2.
In daily operations, you coordinate activities with other product specialists, set priorities, and monitor the quality of the infrastructure. Continuity is primarily your responsibility. You manage the operations team, motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure effective collaboration between administrators, designers, developers, project leaders, suppliers, and stakeholders. You also organize and facilitate knowledge transfer. You ensure that 'delivery,' meaning project work, is clearly delegated, operational processes are tightly controlled, and progress is monitored.
Even in dynamic or complex situations, you maintain an overview and make quick, well-considered decisions during technical disruptions or impending congestion, taking responsibility for both temporary and structural solutions. You also play a central role in bringing together different departments and expertise into one integrated IAM unit. You help facilitate the transition to new technologies, co-manage the phasing out of existing legacy solutions, and specifically monitor the progress of teams and project work.
With a keen eye on the roadmap and strategic objectives, you ensure that all activities contribute to a future-proof and consistent development of the IAM chain.
Within an Agile work environment (Scrum), you introduce new projects and stories into sprint and release planning. You maintain an up-to-date product backlog, perform risk and value assessments, and ensure that user stories are complete and ready for development, including clear descriptions and acceptance criteria. During execution, you monitor progress in tooling such as Jira and Azure DevOps, identify blockages, and coordinate appropriate mitigations. In review and acceptance phases, you facilitate that deliverables meet the predefined requirements and governance frameworks.
You excel at systematically gathering and structuring information from both technical and business domains. You can clearly translate complex matters into understandable advice, carefully weighing interests and setting priorities. You document agreements in accordance with applicable process and governance frameworks, standardize operational work processes, and provide input for management reports on reliability, continuity, and progress.
With proactive planning and transparent reporting, you ensure timely adjustments, smooth knowledge transfer, and streamlined execution of both projects and management activities.
In short, you are a decisive and connecting professional who combines operational leadership with strategic insight. You focus on quality, continuity, compliance, and collaboration, ensuring that the IAM chain continues to function efficiently, securely, and future-proof.
