Responsibilities

Your Qualifications

• Development and design of innovative products, assemblies, and components in the field of automotive electrical systems
• Technical leadership and coordination of development projects – from the concept and prototype phase to series readiness
• Creation of technical specifications and requirements documents, as well as coordination of requirements with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Performance of tolerance calculations and statistical analyses to ensure product quality
• Technical support for CAD and test field teams on design issues, as well as on the layout and validation of components
• Analysis and evaluation of FEM and CFD simulations, as well as evaluation of relevant measurement and test results
• Planning, moderation, and execution of Design FMEAs (D-FMEA) for early identification and minimization of technical risks
• Coordination and assurance of required design and product validations (DV/PV)
• Review of technical drawings regarding functional, design, and formal requirements
• Creation and presentation of technical results for internal and external project participants
• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Plastics Technology, Design, or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in the development and design of electrical systems, ideally in the automotive sector
• Sound knowledge in the design of plastic components and complex assemblies
• Proven experience in technical project management from concept development to series introduction
• Confident use of common development methods and quality tools in the automotive industry, especially FMEA, DFSS, and Red-X
• Knowledge of relevant automotive-specific standards, guidelines, and requirements, such as EMC and patent law
• Experience in evaluating FEM and CFD simulation results, as well as in performing tolerance analyses
• CAD skills, preferably in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX
• Experience in technical drawing review and in handling specifications and requirements documents
• Confident use of MS Office and very good English skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with strong analytical thinking skills and high technical creativity
