Responsibilities

Your Qualifications

• Development and constructive design of electrical and mechanical valves from the concept phase to series readiness
• Design of valve functions regarding closure, switching pressures, tightness, response behavior, and service life, taking tolerances and dimension chains into account
• Design and optimization of components and assemblies in coordination with internal departments such as calculation, simulation, prototype and tool construction
• Design of injection molded, elastomer, and metal components for manufacturing and technical coordination with production and suppliers
• Analysis of customer requirements and specifications, as well as technical evaluation of specifications and feasibility
• Planning, support, and evaluation of product and design verification tests, including function, leak, endurance, temperature, and media resistance tests
• Creation and maintenance of design FMEAs (DFMEA) and definition of special characteristics in cooperation with quality and process planning
• Support of product maturity levels and quality gates, as well as assistance with sampling and product release, e.g., according to PPAP/PPA
• Technical evaluation of changes and root cause and failure analysis for anomalies from testing, ramp-up, and series operation
• Technical coordination with customers, suppliers, sales, and other involved departments
