Job description
The role involves responsibility for internal calculation preparation, obtaining and evaluating supplier offers, and price verification. You will also be responsible for supplier nomination, development, and support throughout the project lifecycle.

- Responsibility for internal calculation preparation, obtaining and evaluating supplier offers, and price verification, taking into account internal purchasing targets and guidelines
- Nomination, development, and support of suppliers throughout the entire project duration until successful project completion
- Development and implementation of project-specific purchasing strategies in close cooperation with Commodity Management
- Control and monitoring of schedules and relevant milestones on the supplier side
- Execution of project-related documentation and reporting, as well as use of relevant internal tools
- Participation in internal and external project costing and support of change management during the project phase
- Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials together with the project team and through early involvement of suppliers in the product creation process
- Close cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Logistics, Controlling, and Development
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Relevant professional experience in purchasing, ideally in project purchasing or direct material purchasing
- Experience in supplier management and/or supplier development, preferably in the context of seat manufacturing
- Sound knowledge of the quality management systems QS 9000 and TS 16949
- Very good knowledge of cost analysis and calculation, as well as extensive experience in contract management
- Experience in managing suppliers regarding costs, deadlines, and project milestones
- In addition to fluent German, very good English skills are required for collaboration in an international supplier and project environment
