Project Description – SAP Expert Quality Management (QM)

For our client, an internationally active building materials manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced SAP QM expert to support an ongoing SAP S/4HANA Greenfield program. The focus of the role is on the upcoming integration test phase within the realize phase, as well as the functional management and optimization of QM processes.

Responsibilities

• Support and functional guidance of the integration test phase in the area of SAP Quality Management (QM)
• Analysis of project status and derivation and prioritization of necessary measures for the successful execution of test activities
• Planning, management, execution, and documentation of end-to-end integration tests along the QM processes
• Mapping and validation of quality processes from goods receipt through production checks to usage decision and goods release
• Analysis, evaluation, and tracking of errors and process deviations up to successful retest
• Ensuring integration and process transitions to adjacent modules such as MM, PP, SD, and warehouse logistics
• Representing the interests of the business unit within the test organization
• Close collaboration with project management, key users, business units, and international project teams

Requirements

Framework Conditions

• Several years of practical experience in SAP Quality Management (SAP QM)
• Deep process understanding in the areas of quality inspection, quality control, and quality assurance
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects, ideally in Greenfield implementations
• Sound knowledge of test management, integration testing, and acceptance procedures
• Experience in team leadership, sub-project management, or coordinating roles
• Good knowledge of the interfaces between SAP QM and MM, PP, and SD
• Ability to evaluate project status, set priorities, and derive concrete recommendations for action
• Confident and assured demeanor towards business units, management, and external partners
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
• Very good German and English language skills
• Start: 02.11.
• Duration: 9 months
• Utilization: 5 days/week
• Location: 60% on-site in NRW, 40% remote
• Travel: Occasional travel to Great Britain
• Language: German and English
