Project in Berlin: Senior System and Network Administrator for approx. 3 months

Project overview

As a System and Network Administrator, in addition to active customer contact, there are other diverse and exciting tasks:

• You are responsible for the administration and support of our existing customer systems (Windows networks, virtualization, shared storage, firewalls, clients, etc.) on-site or remotely
• You plan the technical implementation and documentation of new IT systems for our clients
• You resolve problems in networks, servers, and clients together with clients or colleagues
• You carry out projects to optimize customer systems and bring existing IT systems up to date
• You update and upgrade our systems, thus ensuring system security

Requirements

• You have at least 8 years of experience with Windows Servers and definitely have relevant training or a degree as a basis
• You have very good knowledge of working with Windows Servers, so you can install and configure Windows Servers from scratch and autonomously solve complex cases
• You can set up Active Directory from scratch and are very familiar with other central services such as Exchange or Terminal Server
• You have already gained strong experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365
• You see the backend as your forte and ideally have already worked in a system house
• You have good knowledge of server virtualization based on VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V
