Project Lead SAP SCM Container Tracking

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead for the operational management of a global rollout project in the area of container registration and identification. The project includes the container tracking architecture, the SAP equipment master data framework, and identification technologies (CTN labeling and RFID tag infrastructure) in an international rollout program.

Your main task is to ensure that all relevant containers are registered as equipment in SAP and equipped with the required CTN labels and RFID tags. You will manage the end-to-end tracking and coordination of the defined work across all countries of the rollout.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership and coordination of the global rollout
• Management of rollout planning and milestone tracking
• Establishment and maintenance of a country-specific tracker for containers and their completion status
• Coordination of the SAP equipment registration process
• Methodical tracking and verification of container registration processes
• Monitoring the application of CTN labels and RFID tags
• Collaboration with supply chain managers and local teams
• Identification of blockers, dependencies, and risks
• Regular status reports and escalation management
• Handover of final status and open actions

Requirements

Position: Remote, Part-time, Immediate start, Duration 6+ months

• Extensive project management experience as a Project Manager or Lead
• Experience in SCM or logistics projects
• Experience with equipment or asset registration projects
• Experience with labeling, identification, or RFID deployment projects
• Knowledge of CTN labeling processes desired
• Experience in coordinating SAP equipment registration processes preferred
