Seeking an experienced Project Leader for Area Development to independently guide projects, manage stakeholder alignment, and ensure timely execution. The role requires a proactive, results-oriented approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You have the expertise to independently guide area development projects and organize the necessary coordination between designers, administrative bodies, project developers, and residents. You make well-founded decisions within the framework of the assignment and ensure solutions when the schedule or progress is under pressure.
You have a proactive attitude and know how to professionally interact with diverse stakeholders, from residents and village centers to project developers and governments.
Gemeente West Betuwe is the municipal organization for policy and services for residents, businesses, associations, and institutions. In this role, Gemeente West Betuwe connects legal execution with its own local ambitions. The work package ranges from citizen affairs, permits, and local taxes to programs related to housing, accessibility, and climate, Wmo (Social Support Act), youth, and issues related to existential security.
To carry out these diverse tasks carefully, Gemeente West Betuwe brings together subject-matter expert teams with functions for information provision, project management, finance, and personnel policy. - Candidate has at least 3 years of work experience at a municipality in a similar role
- Candidate has a completed education at HBO (higher professional education) level in a relevant field such as Construction, Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, or Environmental Law
- Candidate has experience in guiding housing projects in various project phases, from initiative to realization
- Candidate has experience in coordinating with various stakeholders, such as municipalities, project developers, designers, and residents
