Senior Project Manager Test Data Management

Project overview

For our client, a bank in the Zurich area, we are looking for a Sales and Segment Manager Banking (A).

Please note that due to current Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Leading a demanding IT and integration project for the introduction of a solution for CID-free test data
• Developing and evaluating suitable solution approaches for test data management, data anonymization, data masking, and synthetic test data
• Creating detailed functional and technical concepts, considering the target state of the test environments
• Preparing decision-making bases for management, including business case, cost/benefit analysis, risks, and feasibility
• Planning, coordinating, and executing a Proof of Concept with a focus on the core banking system Finnova
• Ensuring and coordinating requirements from data protection, governance, risk, compliance, and IT security
• If necessary, preparing RFP documents and coordinating and evaluating suitable solution providers
• Preparing contracting with external suppliers for implementation and operation
• Managing the project from solution finding to productive introduction, including schedule, budget, quality, and risk management
• Leading the integration into the existing system and tool landscape, including interfaces to source systems and databases
• Setting up and commissioning an initial CID-free development environment with synthetic and/or irreversibly anonymized test data
• Developing an operational, role, and governance model, as well as a verification process to ensure CID-free test environments
• Close collaboration with IT, development, testing, architecture, data protection, legal/compliance, risk, governance, information security, and third-party risk
• Creating the required policies, processes, operational documentation, and role and responsibility models
• Planning and supporting change management, including communication, training, and handover to operations
• Project controlling, stakeholder management, and reporting to the relevant steering committees

Requirements

German & English at least C1 level, written and spoken

Soft Skills

• Substantial practical experience from several projects in the areas of test data management, data anonymization, data masking, and/or creation of synthetic test data in the banking environment
• At least 5 years of project management experience in complex IT and integration projects
• Practical experience with several test data management solutions and/or corresponding in-house developments
• Very good technical understanding of databases, interfaces, environment management, and CI/CD
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements in the Swiss financial environment, especially the Swiss Data Protection Act and FINMA regulations
• Proven experience in collaborating with governance, risk, compliance, data protection, and IT security
• Experience with the core banking system Finnova is an advantage
• Several years of experience in test management is an advantage, ideally with ISTQB Advanced certification
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is an advantage
• Senior-level in project management of complex IT projects
• French language skills are an advantage
