Job Description Project Manager

Assignment Description

As a project leader, you are responsible for the 'Rekening Courant en Arbeidsuren Administratie' (VRCA) project. Part of the activities or responsibilities:

It is possible that the officer will be deployed on related (sub)projects for efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Background

The current 'Rekening Courant en Arbeidsuren Administratie' for detainees has been part of the financial system used by DJI for several years. The owner of the financial system wants to phase out the specific custom functionality in the long term to enable future-proof development. Therefore, DJI will implement the information provision for the 'Rekening Courant en arbeidsurenadministratie' for detainees using other facilities. The functionalities of 'Rekening Courant' and 'Arbeidsuren' are different, so two separate projects have been started, each with its own realization and implementation.

Because there are strong dependencies between the two projects, a single project leader and a single steering committee have been chosen.

The realization of the new solutions, in a changing organization, requires care and good insights into the dependencies with other trajectories, processes, applications, and data flows. The project has been ongoing for some time and is in the realization phase. The focus is on implementation and completion of the project.

• Leading the project team
• Establishing connections between the various stakeholders. This involves a diverse stakeholder field ranging from management and policy, IT execution, suppliers, and (end) users.
• Preparing decision-making for various consultative bodies, steering committee, and iBoard.
• Achieving project objectives.
• Candidate has a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree;
• Candidate has knowledge and experience with Prince2 practitioner and/or agile and/or scrum;
• Candidate has at least five (5) years of demonstrable project management experience in IT/ICT project management;
• Candidate has at least three (3) years of demonstrable work experience within the (semi) public sector;
• Candidate has at least two (2) years of demonstrable work experience with project management tools (preferably the Principal Toolbox and/or Fortes Change Cloud (formerly PTB)).
• Knowledge of and insight into the information provision organization at – preferably – DJI, core departments, chain partners, and/or other departments.
